The Wizard to OZ
The French Art Colony Riverby Theatre Guild's youth theatre program, RTG KIDS, will present a youth production of Kathryn Schultz Miller’s script, “The Wizard of Oz”, May 20-22.
RTG KIDS involves youth participants in all aspects of putting the show together to enhance to theatre education experience. The youth participants were involved with nearly all major decisions in the production process, including the selection of the script, painting the sets, etc.
Lucia Colley Jones, French Art Colony Program Coordinator, directed the program, along with volunteers, Leo Parks and Maria Hampton. Several area youth actors participated in the project which began earlier this year.
