CIC plans bus trip to Columbus. You're invited!

On September 21, 2016, the Community Improvement Corporation of Gallia County has scheduled a bus trip to the Ohio Statehouse, where the delegation will meet with a variety of public offices to discuss initiatives that would benefit our region.

Coordinated through Representative Ryan Smith’s office, agencies tentatively scheduled, depending on their availability: JobsOhio, Governor’s Office of Appalachia, Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Ohio Department of Transportation and Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.

The tentative schedule is:

Depart the Chamber of Commerce parking lot at 7 a.m.
Arrive at the Statehouse at 9:30 a.m.
Meetings in the Statehouse until noon.
Lunch in the Atrium.
Depart the Statehouse by 1:30 p.m. to return to Gallipolis.

There is no cost to attend, but space on the bus is limited. RSVP is required.
