DESCRIPTION:The French Art Colony's OKTOBERFEST has been pulled for this coming Saturday\, October 3.  The event may be moved to a later date.  Details will be announced as soon as they are available.  The organization hopes to produce the event during better weather and apologizes for any inconvenience.  For questions\, call 740-446-3834.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe French Art Colony\, regional multi-arts center\, 530 1st Avenue\, Gallipolis\, Ohio\, will host an OKTOBERFEST event\, Saturday\, October 3\, from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. The community event will feature German food\, dancing\, live music from the band\, StillWater\, and a variety of drinks\, including German beer.\n The festive event will begin with atmospheric German music in the all-new\, outdoor pavilion. The regionally-know band\, StillWater\, will perform from 3:00-5:00.   Authentic German food\, available for purchase\, including\; grilled brats\, german potato salad\, kraut\, etc.\n\nTickets for the event may be purchased in advance\, or at the gate\, for $5.00. For more information call 740-446-3834.   The Ohio Arts Council helped fund this organization with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth\, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
