DESCRIPTION:20th Annual Meet Your Elected Leaders Event\n\n\n\nThe Gallia County Chamber of Commerce will conduct its 20th Annual "2016 Legislative - Meet Your Elected Leaders" event\, on Friday morning\, May 6\, 2016.\n\n\n\nAs in past years\, AT&T will be sponsoring this important event. In addition\, Bossard Memorial Library has joined with the Chamber to host the event in their new Riverside Room.\n\n\n\nThe event will start at 9:30 a.m.\, with Silver Bridge Coffee\, along with a breakfast assortment provided by The Wounded Goose.  The program will begin at 10:00 am.\n\n\n\nInvited to participate are Federal\, State and Local elected leaders.  Elected officials\, who have confirmed their attendance\, are Todd Shelton\, Southeast Ohio District Representative for U.S. Senator Rob Portman\, U.S. Congressman Bill Johnson\, Ohio Senator Bob Peterson\, State Representative Ryan Smith\, Kathleen Young\, Southeast Ohio Regional Liaison for Governor John Kasich\, Gallia County Commission President Harold Montgomery and Gallipolis City Commission President Tony Gallagher.\n\n\n\nEach participant will have five (5) minutes to give an update on National/State/Local government activities.  A question and answer period will follow the presentations.  Those expected to attend include not only Gallia County residents\, but also those from surrounding counties. \n\n     \n\nThis Legislative Event is open to the public\, and is another way the Gallia County Chamber of Commerce serves the community. As a reminder\, the event will take place on Friday\, May 6\, 2016 at Bossard Memorial Library.  Please RSVP by calling 446-0596 by April 29\, 2016.
