We’re trying something new!
Starting the end of last year, instead of organizing a special meeting each quarter, we decided to focus on events our members are already hosting and make a special effort to encourage members to attend and support their fellow members and their initiatives.
On Tuesday, March 28, the Gallia County Citizens for Prevention & Recovery (CPR), along with Holzer Health System, the Gallia, Jackson and Meigs Counties ADAMH Board and Health Recovery Services, have organized a community forum to discuss the heroin epidemic in Gallia County.
Panelists will consist of representatives from Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine’s office, the Gallia County Sheriff’s Office, local schools, the business community, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services, faith-based organizations and more.
The event is March 28, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Bossard Memorial Library. Pizza and refreshments will be served from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (first come, first served), with the program beginning at 6 p.m.
Please RSVP via the link to indicate your plan to attend this event. We hope to see you there!
The Chamber’s Quarterly Events are sponsored by Bridgeport Equipment and Tool Sales, Buckeye Rural Electric Cooperative, Career Connections, Cliff Stapleton’s Garage, Courtside Bar & Grill, Electrocraft Ohio, Evans Wealth Management, Evans-Moore Insurance Agency, Farmers Bank, Gallipolis Daily Tribune, Haffelt’s Mill Outlet, Hampton Inn, Hilliard Lyons, JE Morrison & Associates, Mark Porter Chevrolet-Buick-GMC, S.T.E.P.S., Mitchell Auto Parts, Ohio Valley Bank, Osmosis Marketing Solutions, OVEC Kyger Creek, Saunders Insurance Agency, Swords Photography, The Carmichael Agency and The Wiseman Agency.
