The Gallia County Chamber of Commerce, along with the Dr. Samuel L. Bossard Memorial Library, will host the 2017 Gallia County Chamber Legislative Town Hall event on Tuesday evening, May 23 in the Riverside Room at Bossard Library. The event is sponsored by AT&T.
For the past 21 years, the Chamber has organized a Legislative Event to connect the community with their local, state and national elected leaders. This year, we chose a Town Hall format and the public is encouraged to attend and ask questions about issues that concern them.
We want to be sure as many of those attending as possible will be able to participate. Cards will be given out, so that people who have questions, will be able to write them down and give them to the moderator, who then will direct them to the appropriate panelist.
Anyone wishing to send in questions prior to the event, may do so by emailing eorsbon@galliacounty.org.
Currently scheduled to attend are:
Todd Shelton, Representative for U.S. Senator Rob Portman
Jeanne Wilson, Representative for U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown
Juli Stephens, Representative for U.S. Congressman Bill Johnson
Taylor Stepp, Representative for Ohio State Representative Ryan Smith
Gallia County Commission President Harold Montgomery
Gallipolis City Commission President Tony Gallagher
While it is not required, we would appreciate anyone planning to attend RSVP either using the link or calling the Chamber at (740) 446-0596.
